A very warm welcome
Since qualifying in 1997 and having worked with many individuals and couples over the years, I know that lots of us have times in our lives when we struggle to find a way through difficulties.
Therapy offers you the time, space and non-judgemental support that frees you to move on in life confidently, with more understanding of yourself and those around you.
I'm a qualified and highly experienced therapist offering relational, integrative therapy. I'm particularly interested in working with women and women's issues.
These are some of the areas that people I have worked with have explored in their therapy:
Improving relationships with others
Wanting to feel more self-confident
Overactive self-critical voice
Worrying about things that might happen (aka anxiety)
Feeling despondent, lack of joy because of events in the past (aka depression)
Overwhelmed by pressures at home or work
I provide a safe, calm space where you can talk about what's going on for you, identify what you want to change and how you can achieve that. Therapy can help whether you're simply tired of feeling unhappy and stuck and are ready to move forward, if you're struggling to come to terms with a major change in your life, through bereavement, separation, illness or retirement or if you and your partner are trapped in a repeating cycle of blaming each other and would like to reconnect in a healthier, happier way.
I can offer you the space to explore what needs to change in your life and together we can work on bringing about those changes.
If you're looking for an experienced, qualified therapist, give me a call or email and together we'll work towards a happier, more resilient and balanced you.
I currently offer clinical supervision to a wide range of practitioners online via Zoom or phone.
It's my belief that a good supervisor offers a secure base from which we develop a clear sense of our own resources and the knowledge that we are all a wonderful work in progress. In my experience, clinical supervision is, and should be, flexible, creative, fun and always mindful of the ethical boundaries within which we all work.
No matter what kind of therapy we offer to clients, sound clinical supervision ensures that we are working in our clients' best interests whilst also taking good care of ourselves.
If you're searching for clinical supervision, or if you would like to try online/phone supervision from wherever you are in the UK, get in touch and let's work together creatively to bring out the best in you.
